Former PiS MP and senator Adam G. was detained by the CBA and arrested by court decision. The Supreme Audit Office notified the prosecutor’s office regarding the hospital. In turn, General Jarosław Szymczyk resigned as the Chief Commander of the Police. Here are five things to know on December 8.
1. Hołownia clashed with Morawiecki, Henning-Kloska with Buda

According to the prosecutor’s office, the charges concern inciting and aiding in the issuance of fictitious VAT invoices, accepting a financial benefit in connection with the function performed and using a document confirming untruth.
3. The MPs decided on electricity prices and the investigative commission
On Thursday, MPs voted in favor of adopting the parliamentary bill on the protection of energy consumers. Its provisions extend the freeze energy prices. At the last stage of work, an amendment was introduced to the Act which covers the maximum price of electricity for small and medium-sized enterprises and farmers.
The MPs also voted in favor of adopting a parliamentary draft resolution on the establishment of an investigative committee to examine the legality, regularity and advisability of the actions taken to prepare and carry out elections president in 2020 in the form of postal voting, i.e. envelope elections.
4. NIK notifies the prosecutor’s office regarding the hospital
