Jarosław Kaczyński appealed to PiS supporters to donate money to his party. He assessed that Thursday's decision by the National Electoral Commission is “scandalous” and is “an attempt to eliminate the only strong opposition party”.

On Thursday The National Electoral Commission has rejected the financial report on the revenues, expenses and financial liabilities of the PiS committee from the 2023 parliamentary elections. The head PKW Judge Sylwester Marciniak announced that the subsidy for the PiS committee will be reduced by PLN 10 million. The party may also be deprived of the subsidy for three years as a result of the rejection of the annual financial report. The resolution of the National Electoral Commission may be appealed to the Supreme Court.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski made a statement on Friday at PiS headquarters. He assessed that the decision of the National Electoral Commission “is scandalous”.

He argued that “the motives behind PO's actions can be easily recreated”. – It's about the danger of losing (by PO) if normal election procedures are followed – said the PiS leader.

In his opinion, the decision of the National Electoral Commission “is an attempt to eliminate the only strong opposition party”. – This is nothing other than the path that Lukashenko and Putin once took – he said.

He assured that PiS “will manage”. – No one who is Polish, a patriot, can agree to this. We will fight, but at the moment we need help from society. Financial help. Of course, everything must be legal, these must be legal payments – Kaczyński emphasized.
