Since the beginning of the year, the number of completely electric car registrations (BEV) in Poland has increased by over 10,000 pieces, which means an increase of 36 percent per annum – according to the electromobility meter. – Launching the NaszAauto program, despite the fact that it applies only to natural persons and sole proprietorships, caused that the results of registration are much better – said the president of the Polish Automotive Industry Association Jakub Faryś.
According to the automotive industry (PZPM) and the Polish Association of New Mobility (PSNM), the electromobility counter (PSNM) launched by the Polish Association, at the end of April 2025, 164 074 passenger cars with electric drive traveled on Polish roads.
The fleet of fully electric, passenger cars (Battery Electric Vehicles) had 81 997 pcs, and Plug-in hybrid park (PHEV, Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles)-82 077 pcs.

They added that at the end of last month the zero -emission bus park in Poland increased to 1543 pcs, of which completely electric vehicles constituted 1450 pcs, while hydrogen – 93 pcs).
The electromobility meter shows that in parallel to the fleet of vehicles with electric drive, charging infrastructure develops – at the end of April 2025, 9,524 publicly available electric vehicle charging points operated in Poland. 32 percent of them were fast fixed charging points (DC), and 68 percent – Free AC (AC) with a power of a smaller power of 22 kW.
The impact of subsidies for electricians. “Are key”
The president of the Polish Automotive Industry Association cited in a statement, Jakub Faryś said that the first four months of the year showed that subsidies are key for demand for new electric cars. – Launching the NaszAauto program, despite the fact that it applies only to natural persons and sole proprietorships, caused that the results of registration are much better than in previous months – he pointed out.
– Probably the most spectacular European example is the increase in BEV registration in Denmark, where the government released buyers of electric vehicles from a very high – of over 150 percent. Value of the vehicle – tax, which is the case with internal combustion cars. This decision caused an immediate and ankle increase in the registration of electric cars. Both examples show that it is necessary to support zero -emission vehicle purchases – noted Faryś.
He added that the union counts that in the middle of the year the NaszAauto program will be verified and the buyer of vans and the company will join the group of beneficiaries.
