– It's hard for me to find time to constantly write to Polish housing community regarding absurd water bills. But I do it. I write appeals, call the administration and the accountant, but I don't get any answers other than that I have to pay because this is the settlement – he says in an interview with TVN. – Even if I wave my hand and pay this bill, it won't help. Account of horror in Warsaw. “The fees were very low”

TVN contacted the building's manager, Victus. She explains that the six thousand zlotys is a settlement not for half a year, but for 5 years. Why? Well, the company explains that since 2019, “the radio module has been transmitting very low, false levels on the hot water meter.” That's why when it was replaced in May, “horror bills” came. – The owner of the premises was charged very low utility fees during this period – explains Małgorzata Górska, legal advisor and partner at Victus.

However, this does not convince the resident who has to pay a horrendously high bill. She contacted a lawyer who explained to her that water bill claims could become statute-barred after two years. However, the administration demands that it pay the correction for five years back. She was only offered the option of paying in 10-month installments. She also reported the matter to Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
