Over 300 people were to take part in the great act of football fans – i.e. the illegal fight of stadium hooligans. The police made this particular battle not happening, but this is not the only example of the last time. Participation in such a battle is a crime. He faces not up to 5 years in prison, and if someone died in a fight, up to 15 years.

It could have been a real battle. Even before the start of the match at the Silesian Stadium, police noticed two aggressive groups of several football clubs from all over the country. A total of 330 people.

– The strong reaction of the policemen prevented the escalation of the conflict and the confrontation between these two groups. All these people were identified and some of them were not allowed into the event area – said young asp. PaweÅ‚ Kasprzak from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Katowice.

Another dangerous incident involving fans took place on May 31 on the A1 motorway near Piotrków Trybunalski.

Pseudo -teams have their own training rooms

Fighting disappeared from well -monitored and secured stadiums. They took the form of laws, which most often take place in secluded places. Pseudo -team militias from all over the country compete in them. These are not random people.

– They connect all of them that they are training all the time. They often have their clubs, where they train. This is their property. No random man for training is not allowed. The presence of these trainings is very strongly observed and the person presents the sports form, has a direct impact on what position he is in in the group – described the operational officer of the Department for Combating Crime of the Pseudo -Firefighters of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Katowice.

According to the official data of the Police Headquarters, 106 acts occurred in Poland from 2022 to the end of April 2025. The police prevented 375 laws. At the same time, prosecutors raised 811 charges of participating in a fight.

For this crime is punishable by up to five years in prison, and if someone died in a fight, up to 15 years. Investigators do not have to prove that a specific person inflicted specific injuries.

– Participation in the fight is understood very widely. It is not just about dealing with blows, but it is enough to assign responsibility to support, persuading other people to deal blows – explained lawyer Dr. Mateusz Szurman. However, even high penalties do not deter participants of the bill.
