On Saturday evening, the Vatican informed about the “gradual, slight improvement” of the Pope's health. It was added that Franciszek's body reacts well to therapy. From February 14, the Pope has been in the gemella polyclinic in Rome and is struggling with bilateral pneumonia.
The issued medical newsletter wrote: “The Holy Father's clinical condition remained stable in past days and consequently testifies to a good response to therapy. There is a slight improvement.”
The pope has no fever and his blood tests remain stable – it was donated.
As noted, doctors wanting to assess this initial improvement in the pope's state still refrain from further negotiations.

The communiqué also said that on Saturday the Pope prayed in the chapel of a private apartment, and in the afternoon he rested and worked.
Cardinal Michael Czerny will lead the evening prayer at Saint Peter's Square for Franciszek's health.
88-year-old Franciszek has been hospitalized since February 14 due to a severe respiratory tract infection. This is the longest of its four hospitalizations.
