At the end of June, the provisions that suspend the power fee expire. This is one of the components of the electricity account. The power fee rate for 2025 ranges from 2.86 to 16.01 PLN net per month depending on the consumption of electricity.
On Friday, the president of the Energy Regulatory Office published the final results of the auction supplementing the power market for the second half of 2025, which means that it was not annulled by the minister. Therefore, from July, a power fee in the amount approved at 2025 by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office in September 2024 will appear again on household accounts.
New power fee rates
The monthly rates of the power fee will amount to PLN 2.86 net for households consuming annually below 500 kWh electricity.
For consumption farms from 500 kWh to 1200 kWh Annually, the rate will be PLN 6.86 net.
For recipients consuming annually from 1200 kWh to 2800 kWh The rate will be PLN 11.14 net.
However, for consuming farms over 2,800 kWh Annually, the monthly power fee rate will be PLN 16.01 net.
Annual electricity consumption in households in Poland is on average 2000-2500 kWh per farm.

The power fee is aimed at financing energy security. It is a mechanism for remuneration of energy generators for readiness to provide power to the network.
