The Polish national team appointed to these matches includes five players appearing in the Polish PKO BP Ekstraklasa: goalkeeper Bartosz Mrozek (Lech Poznań), helpers: Kamil Grosicki (Pogoń Szczecin), Oskar Repka (GKS Katowice), Maximillian Oyedele (Legia Warsaw) and defender Mateusz Skrzypczak (Jagiellonia Białystok). Mrozek, Repka and Skrzypczak have a chance to debut in a jersey with an eagle on their chest. According to coach Probierz, the latter is close to the debut.
– Mateusz Skrzypczak certainly looks better and better. He had the opportunity to come in earlier, as we had a lot of injuries, but he had an injury himself. Today it is probably closest to the debut and play. We already know and we saw him. We'll see – said Michał Prdyk for connecting us.
The 24-year-old Skrzypczak was also called to the last March grouping of the team, but he did not perform at the time. “If I put it from the beginning, I would deny myself if he was freed.” It's not like we pull players out of the hat and put them on. There is also the moment when we observe the players. I have practically the whole staff at my disposal, but Mateusz will definitely not play from the beginning – He spoke to the priest.
Skrzypczak, who was won the best defender of PKO BP Ekstraklasa, in the 2024/2025 season played 46 matches for Jagiellonia Białystok in all games and scored two goals.
