A firefighter-diver who took part in the search for Grzegorz Borys was taken to hospital unconscious. The accident occurred while searching a water reservoir at Lipowa and Źródło Marii streets in Gdynia. 44-year-old Grzegorz Borys, suspected of murdering his 6-year-old son, has been wanted for thirteen days.
According to the press officer of the fire brigade in Gdańsk, Brig. Jacek Jakóbczyk, on Wednesday, during activities in the reservoir at Lipowa and Źródło Marii streets in Gdynia, a diving accident occurred. – The unconscious diver was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Gdynia – he added. The Air Ambulance also intervened on site.
He explained that the activities of firefighters-divers from the Specialized Water and Diving Rescue Group were carried out on Wednesday morning at the request of the police.
