“Michael was there selling A Good Homicide, and he requested to satisfy me,” she recalled to the New Yorker in April. “I keep in mind I walked by means of the door of the lodge once I arrived, and he walked proper previous me along with his golf bag on his shoulder. And, famously, Douglas informed Zeta-Jones—who was born on Sept. 25 simply as he was, solely 25 years later—proper then and there that he was going to be the daddy of her kids.
“And I went, ‘All proper. I’ve learn rather a lot about you. I’ve seen rather a lot about you. I heard rather a lot about you. Good evening,'” she continued, “And I went to mattress and obtained up at 5 a.m. I went to London, modified planes, went to Aberdeen, obtained on a ferry throughout to the Isle of Mull. And there was a giant bouquet of flowers saying ‘I am sorry if I scared you. Love, Michael Douglas.’ He at all times says whoever was the florist who obtained these flowers to the Isle of Mull saved his life. I’ll say if someone says they are going to father your kids while you’ve simply met them, it’s a little scary. Sadly he was proper, once more.”
The truth is, Zeta-Jones told ET in 2016 that, whereas she could not pinpoint her favourite profession second, her all-time excessive was “giving beginning to 2 of my youngsters, and him being the primary one to carry them was fairly wonderful.”
