An international team of experts found no evidence of an explosion in the bodies of the victims of the Smolensk catastrophe, according to information obtained by TVN24 and tvn24.pl journalists. – This is another expert opinion that excludes the thesis about the attack, the thesis about the explosion – pointed out in “Tak jest” the former chairman of the State Commission for Investigation of Aircraft Accidents, and now a PO MP, Maciej Lasek. Unaffiliated senator Jan Maria Jackowski said that for him “all the information that is coming at the moment is shocking”.
TVN24 and tvn24.pl journalists have found information that indicates which ones conclusions reached by an international team of experts appointed by the National Prosecutor’s Office in the case catastrophe in Smolensk plane with the presidential couple and the Polish delegation. Experts found no evidence of an explosion on the bodies of the victims of the disaster.
The final expert opinion cited by journalists was issued on September 20.
Lasek: this is another expert opinion that excludes the thesis about the assassination attempt, the thesis about the explosion
The case was commented on in “Tak jest” on TVN24, former chairman of the State Commission for Investigation of Aircraft Accidents, and now member of the Civic Platform Maciej Lasek and non-associated senator Jan Maria Jackowski.
As Lasek said, “this is another expert opinion that excludes the thesis about the assassination attempt, the thesis about the explosion.” – Let me remind you that there were several expert opinions prepared by the prosecutor’s office, even earlier by the military prosecutor’s office. They all coincide with each other. Now we have an expert opinion prepared by a truly reputable team of experts from abroad – he said.
As the expert and the current MP said, we have “further results that do not confirm the theses that Antoni Macierewicz has been preaching for almost 12 years.”
According to Lask, the question is whether, if all the reports from expert teams come to the prosecutor’s office, “then Jaroslaw Kaczynski he will say: ok, I was wrong, I’m sorry, it was an accident, I believe the prosecutor’s office – headed today by a minister from the United Right – I believe foreign experts, whether we will continue to be held hostage by this rather gruesome dance on coffins.” – We would all prefer that every 10 April to remember those people who died in this catastrophe, to remember what good they did for Poland and what wonderful people they were, and not to cause another trauma to the families, Lasek assessed.
Jackowski: there is a strange stubbornness
Senator Jackowski said that for him “all the information that is coming at the moment is shocking”. – And I think they are shocking for a large part of public opinion in Poland. Because it is no secret that in Poland we have a division regarding the assessment of the causes of this catastrophe – he added.
He said that “there is a strange stubbornness” on the part of the rulers regarding the disaster. – If there was an attack behind which another country stood, not some anonymous terrorists, (but) another country, then on the basis of international law, some diplomatic steps, some political steps should be taken. Were such measures taken against the Russian Federation, since such an allegation was made? – He was asking. “I don’t remember,” Jackowski added.
