We will submit a notification to the prosecutor’s office regarding the disclosure of classified data from the trial in which the children of Magdalena Filiks were harmed – informed her attorney, lawyer Mikołaj Marecki.
The son of Magdalena Filiks, MP of the Civic Coalition, died on February 17. The boy was 15 years old, he committed suicide. The teenager was the victim of a pedophile. Krzysztof F., who worked as the plenipotentiary of the marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship for addiction issues. Krzysztof F. was convicted in 2021 and sent to prison.
It is impossible to unequivocally judge the reasons for the 15-year-old’s taking his own life, the investigation into his death is being conducted by the prosecutor’s office. However, there were opinions – including from the head of the state pedophilia commission, Błażej Kmieciak – that the government media at the turn of the year led to the identification of the MP’s son as a victim of a convicted pedophile. Three weeks before his death, the head of the National Broadcasting Council, Maciej Świrski, initiated proceedings to punish Radio Szczecin and TVP Info in connection with “the emission of content enabling the identification of pedophile victims, which glaringly threatened the well-being of minor victims of violence.”
Attorney of Filiks: we are submitting a notification regarding the disclosure of classified data
The representative of Magdalena Filiks, Mikołaj Marecki, in an interview with a TVN24 reporter, said that he would submit a notification to the prosecutor’s office regarding the disclosure of data from the investigation.
– We will submit a notification regarding the disclosure of confidential data from the trial in which the children of Magdalena Filiks were harmed – he informed.
He pointed out that “no action on the part of the prosecutor’s office or the Ombudsman for Children has been taken in this direction.” – We ourselves have not previously submitted (such a notification) for the protection of Santa himself. Now, immediately after her death, it was a difficult time for Magdalena Filiks, she had to be given time to grieve in peace, added the lawyer.
– We do not hide that it is outrageous that such proceedings were not initiated after December 29, 2022 – emphasized Marecki, referring to the day when the government media published the first article about the convicted Krzysztof F. and his victims.
– Now the initiative is on our side, this situation cannot be left as it is – he stressed. He explained that it was “information from the investigation”. – As follows from well-established jurisprudence – the judgment itself, what is in the operative part, is public, while the entire proceedings are secret – he explained. – In the materials of Radio Szczecin and Telewizja Polska, materials not covered by the judgment, which come from the case files, were disclosed – he added.
