The car was picked up by the tornado along with the firefighter driving it. As the driver recalled, the wind lifted the heavy car in the blink of an eye and threw it aside. The incident took place in California and was recorded on video.

There were violent storms over California on Saturday stormsaccompanied by intense rainfall and strong wind. Tornado warnings were in effect for much of the state, including San Francisco, but the local office of the National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed just one, in the city of Scotts Valley.

The car rose into the air

The tornado was so strong that it grabbed several cars, throwing them aside. One of them was driven by Manuel Garcia, a firefighter from California. While driving, the man suddenly saw the vehicle in front of him start to lean dangerously to one side. Before he could react, the elements reached his vehicle, a company pickup truck.

– The next thing I remember was floating in the air and not really spinning, but spinning. The car spun around and fell, he said in an interview with CNN.
