Friday brought violent weather to Podkarpacie. A storm rolled through Lubaczów, after which it is now necessary to clean up. On Saturday, the RCB storm alert is in effect for the entire Podkarpacie province.
On Friday evening by Lubaczow (Podkarpackie Province) went through a violent storm. It was accompanied by heavy rain and gusty winds. The wind was so strong that branches and entire trees broke. Firefighters had their hands full since Saturday morning. Their actions mainly consisted of removing fallen tree branches and pumping water from flooded roads.
– I saw the storm through the window, it was terrible, you could barely see anything. The trees were bending, their tips almost touching the ground. There was terrible thunder – said Mrs. Lena, a resident of Lubaczów.
– It blew like a hurricane. Strong winds knocked down trees, the street was flooded. Everything here was flooded – added another resident of Lubaczów, Mrs. Stanisława.
