Extremely difficult road conditions in Michigan following snowfall. On one of the highways, a speeding truck hit a parked fire truck with great force. The incident was recorded on video.
The accident occurred in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. On one snow-covered highway, crews of firefighters and sheriff's officers were responding to an accident that had occurred earlier. Suddenly, a truck hit the fire truck parked on the roadside. The entire incident was recorded from the dashcam of another vehicle parked right in front of the fire truck.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office said no officers were injured. The truck driver was taken to hospital and suffered only minor injuries.
Numerous accidents after a snowstorm
Authorities also announced that Thursday storm snowstorm “caused unsafe driving conditions throughout Kalamazoo County, resulting in numerous vehicle accidents.”
