The resolution reported by the USA also underwent, which originally only talked about regret due to the “tragic loss of life in the conflict of the Russian Federation with Ukraine”, did not contain the condemnation of the Russian invasion and repeated that the main goal of the UN is to maintain international peace and security and peaceful resolution of disputes. Her text was changed with amendments reported, among others through Poland.

Government Plenipotentiary for Reconstruction Ukraine Paweł Kowal (KO), who is in Kiev, was asked in “Facts after facts” on TVN24, “how shocking” he is for him and Ukrainians that the US voted with Russia.

As he assessed, “in history it was more than once – it can actually be said that most American presidents began with some illusion that they could get along with the autocrat in the Kremlin.” “This is not the first and not the last time,” he added.

– If I have a recommendation, it's still the same. Calmly wait, let the new American administration know what is happening and liberated from these illusions. Do not enter into unnecessary polemics, screams in the West – said Kowal.

– Let's look at what is happening and remember that this world would not be destroyed – he emphasized.

He said that today's discussions in Kiev, which he listened to, concerned primarily how “quickly mobilize, how to support Ukraine at this stage, which is now.” – The Russians are pressing every day. This war continues. Let us not be children in this matter. Nobody interrupted hostilities here. Ukraine is still attacked every day – he noted.

– So the approach of European leaders is correct – first of all, let's focus on the fact that the Russians, when there is some conversations, do not give satisfaction that they obtained even more – he assessed.
