Minister of Internal Affairs Lithuania Agnė Bilotaitė informed the media about the arrangements after Friday's meeting with her counterparts from the other two Baltic countries – Poland, Finland and Norway.

This is a completely new thing – a wall of drones stretching from Norway to Poland – its goal is to use drones and other technologies to protect our borders (…) against provocations from unfriendly countries and smuggling – she said in an interview for the BNS agency.

To create such a “drone wall“, countries would use unmanned aerial vehicles to monitor their border area and anti-drone systems that would deter foreign drones.
