The weather will give us a lot of attractions. The next few days will continue to be warm, with temperatures reaching 17 degrees Celsius. It will rain every day and there will be thunderstorms on the weekend. Later it will be severely cold, only a few degrees above zero in places, and snowfall will return. Gusty winds are also in the forecast.
Within the next 24 hours, a cold atmospheric front associated with the Gerson low moving over northern Russia is to remain over the eastern part of our country. Behind it on Tuesday, a high-pressure wedge will develop. However, this baric system is to shape the weather in the west and in the center of the country for a short time. A warm front will enter from the west on Tuesday afternoon, associated with an extensive, multi-center low-pressure vortex from the Atlantic Ocean, informs weather forecaster tvnemteo.pl Arleta Unton-Pyziołek.
The Atlantic than will shape the aura in our country until the end of the week. Over the next few days, masses of polar marine air are expected to flow from the west, bringing cloudy weather and spring showers. As the weather forecaster explains, from Wednesday the temperature will start to rise with the influx of warmer air masses from the south-west, but a cold front will enter the country over the weekend, piling up clouds and carrying in places storms. It will cool down considerably in a few days.
Even 17 degrees, but also gusty wind
Tuesday will be cloudy with showers. There will be periods of rainfall in the order of 1-5 liters of water per square meter, especially in the east and south of the country. In the evening it also rains on the western edges. There will be no precipitation in Wielkopolska and Lower Silesia. The maximum temperature will range from 8 degrees Celsius in the Suwałki Region, through 11 degrees Celsius in the center of the country, to 12 degrees Celsius in the Lubusz Land and Lower Silesia. The wind will be north-west and west, weak and moderate.
Partly cloudy with showers is forecast for Wednesday. In the south-eastern part of the country, it should not rain, and in other regions rainfall of up to 5 l/sqm is possible from time to time. Thermometers will show a maximum of 10 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 13 degrees C in the center, to 16 degrees C in Lower Silesia. There will be a south-westerly, moderate, periodically quite strong wind, gusting up to 50-70 km/h.
Thursday will bring cloudy weather, but it will also clear up. There will be periodic rainfall, especially in the northern regions, where it will fall to 5 l/sqm. The maximum temperature will reach from 11 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 14 degrees C in central Poland, to 16 degrees C in Podkarpacie. The wind will be south-west, moderate and quite strong, with gusts reaching 50-70 km / h.
Friday in most of the country will pass with cloudy weather with clear spells, and showers of 1-10 l / sq m will move from the west. It should not rain in the Podkarpacie region and there will also be clearing up. The thermometers show a maximum of 11 degrees C in Pomerania, through 14 degrees C in the center of the country, to 17 degrees C in the Carpathian Foothills. A moderate and quite strong wind will blow from the south-west direction, with gusts up to 50-80 km / h.
Weather forecast for the weekend
On Saturday it will be cloudy with showers everywhere. There will be showers of up to 1-5 l/sq m, and in the center and east of the country, storms with rainfall up to 15 l/sq m are also possible. The maximum temperature will be from 10 degrees C in Western Pomerania, through 12 degrees C in the central regions, to 15 degrees C in Podkarpacie. There will be a west, moderate, periodically quite strong wind with gusts up to 50-70 km / h.
Sunday throughout Poland will bring periodic rainfall up to 5-15 l / sq m. Thermometers will indicate a maximum of 7 degrees C in Pomerania, through 13 degrees in the center, to 17 degrees C in Podkarpacie. The wind will be south-west, quite strong, with gusts accelerating to 60-80 km / h.
Snow possible early next week
Monday will bring snow showers. It will drop to 1-2 centimeters. The maximum temperature will reach from 3-4 degrees in the Pomeranian region, through 5-6 degrees in the central part of the country, to 7 degrees C in the south.
Over the next few days, i.e. on Tuesday and Wednesday, several degrees of frost is possible in some parts of Poland at night when the weather clears. The temperature can drop to -5 degrees C.
