In 2016-2019, Sandro Kulenović was a Legia Warsaw footballer. The Croatian, however, did not conquer Ekstraklasa, because in 36 matches he scored six goals, and sometimes there were situations when Kulenović was boomed by fans. In September 2019, Legia sold Kulenovic to Dinama Zagreb for EUR 1.6 million. First, the attacker was borrowed to Rijeka and Lokomotivy, but from this season he is one of the most important figures in Dinama, which also affects interest from European clubs.
In recent months, Kulenovic has been interested in Besiktas Istanbul or Lokomotiv Moscow, and this is important from Legia's perspective, because the capital's club has a recorded percentage from the amount of the next transfer with the participation of a Croatian. This season he scored 17 goals in 33 matches, of which he hit the Champions League three times. Kulenović scored a doublet in the match against Slovan Bratislava (4: 1), and also scored a goal in the competition against RB Salzburg (2: 0).
Dinamo Zagreb is the most successful club from Croatia – a 25 -time national champion, winner of 17 Croatia cups and eight Super Cup. This season, however, takes third place with 38 points and loses four to the host of Rijeka. This could be Dinam's first season without championships from 04/05.
Kulenovic's eloquent celebration. Croatia writes about him. “Does not deserve”
On Saturday, Dinamo played at home with Gorica, so the penultimate team of the Croatian league. Gorica scored a goal in the 27th minute, but six minutes later Dinamo led to a draw after hitting Wilfried Kanga. In the 75th minute Dinamo was already winning 2: 1 after Marko Pjacy's goal, a former Juventus player. In the 88th minute Kulenović appeared on the pitch, and eight minutes later he became the hero of Dinam and scored a goal at 3: 1.
Arber Hoxha carried out an individual action, but finally gave the ball to Kulenovic. The former Legia striker fired a shot from the first ball, from behind the penalty of Gorica, and after a while he enjoyed the tenth hit this season in the league. It was important because Kulenović had a series of nine league matches without a goal. – I am happy about Kulenovic's goal. This is how it is with the attackers: they live from goals, and for him it was very important to score a goal – said Fabio Cannavaro, Dinama coach.

Croatian media recorded Kulenovic's hit. The index.hr portal wrote that Kulenović did not enjoy the goal, but only looked towards the bench. It seemed that it was because of the fact that from Kanga's transfer to Dinam Croatia became a substitute. “Kulenović does not deserve criticism,” adds Sportske.jutarnji.hr. It turns out that Kulenović looked towards the Western stand, which often criticized him in recent matches.
“We repeat for the hundredth time, Kulenović does not deserve toal and criticism. This season he scored 17 goals for Dinam. Even without these impressive achievements in every match and gives everything in every minute” – we read. “Dinama's attacker repeated his dark face,” wrote Sportalo.hr.
“Sandro clenched his teeth, tried to help Dinamo get out of the crisis, but it failed. From the beloved hero of the streets he became the target of insults at matches,” added Croatian journalists, writing about Kulenovic's performances throughout the 24/25 season.
