Kasjusz “Don Kasjo” Życiński provoked and provoked Tomasz Adamek, former world champion, so much that he finally fought him. It happened at the Fame gala MMA 22 at the National Stadium in Warsaw, theoretically as a co-main event, but after the cancellation of the fight between “PashyBiceps” and Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk, it was the clash that was actually most anticipated.
Adamek's boxing lesson at the National Stadium. “Don Kasjo” raised his hands, but there could only be one verdict
Even in the clash with the 47-year-old former world champion, “Don Kasjo” saw the difference between freak fights and professional boxing, which in the past was at the highest level. At first, Adamek consistently hit under Życiński's guard, thus breaking it. Later, he delivered a punch that shook “Don Kasjo”, who in the first round was only capable of one good punch to Adamek's head.
“Don Kasjo” rarely left his guard, but he sometimes landed a punch. However, Adamek did it much more often and more powerfully, consistently outscoring his opponent. Towards the end of the second round, there was a mini brawl, but Życiński lacked accurate punches in all of this, and when they did appear, they simply lacked the power in them.
In the third round, Adamek was also starting to lose strength, but he was still the better fighter. He also emphasized this with a very effective combination at the end. And although “Don Kasjo” raised his hand in the air after it, the judges couldn't believe it, especially when they saw Życiński's smashed nose, which doubled in volume.
In the last round, “Don Kasjo” even provoked Adamek to even stronger attacks, and the 47-year-old effectively scored points for his rival. And although the fight took place over the full distance of four rounds, “Don Kasjo” raised his hands up, there could only be one verdict – a unanimous and decisive victory on points for Tomasz Adamek.
It is possible that Życiński was simply happy to have survived the fight with the former world champion without any knockdowns, although after the verdict he gave the impression that he was dissatisfied with the verdict.
– I'm a grandfather, I fight in Fame – that's what's left to me. Thank you very much, I'm very happy – said Adamek after the victory.
