The resignation from the protection of consumer rights is one of the greatest neglect of the Third Polish Republic – believes the minister of funds and regional policy Katarzyna Pełczyńska -Nałęcz. In her opinion, consumers and taxpayers are the greatest strength of the free market.
Examples of “abdication from the protection of consumer rights” Pełczyńska-Nałęcz exchanged in her social media post.
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz: Consumers and taxpayers are the greatest strength of the free market
“It was considered that the free market is doing well when great interest groups are doing well: great investors, banks, developers. That if banks earn a lot – then the financial system works great. If the apartments are expensive – then the housing market” blooms “” – she wrote and added that “such lies were repeated until many believed that they were true.” According to the minister, it is “exactly the opposite”. “Consumers and taxpayers are the greatest strength of the free market. It is their rights that should be observed primarily. Without these rights, without an honest, free market there is no development and there is no strong economy. Subsidies for loans – this is just one of many defective anti -consumer policies,” she wrote.
The minister presents a list of defective politicians
She also pointed out that among these defective politicians are also: hiding the prices of apartments by developers, which limits the right to choose according to the price, lowering credit rating to people for the fact that they submit more queries to recognize the credit market well, interest on savings well below inflation and the NBP base foot – which is “pure grade, stripping people from savings, the highest margins for mortgage loans in Europe and WIBOR – Eldorado for manipulation in favor of banks, contrary to the interests of buyers buyers and small and medium -sized companies that want to develop.” She noted that more solutions are needed, such as the Act ordering the disclosure of developers' prices, and less loan -like policies.
