The Chinese meteorological agency (CMA) has issued warnings against downpours and floods for the southern regions of the country. According to experts, the strongest storm so far this year is coming into these areas.
According to forecasts, the effects of the impending wave of rain may be felt by the inhabitants of the provinces: Jiangxi, Fujian, Kuangsi, Guangdong and Koujczo in southern China. On Wednesday and Thursday, even over 150 liters of water per square meter can fall there, which can lead to local floods and landslides.
According to Chinese meteorologists, the upcoming front can be the largest storm this region this year.

“Society should be prepared for downpours and avoid areas susceptible to disasters such as mountain areas, river valleys and low -situated areas” – wrote on platform X Chinese meteorological agency (CMA).

Some Chinese cities have already experienced heavy rainfall. In Shenzhen in the southeast of the country, due to unstable weather conditions, the local authorities suspended the railway traffic. Also in Fujian, it was decided to limit fast railways.
