Adam Glapiński's settlement help: Appointed special prosecutorwhose task is assistance to the constitutional responsibility committee in extracting documents necessary to judge the president of the NBP – one of money.pl's interlocutors reported anonymously. – The committee will use all legally provided instruments to avoid being a supplicant of Mr. Glapiński – said one of the committee members.

NBP does not cooperate with: To substantiate the allegations made in the initial application, the Commission needs, among other things, full minutes of meetings of the NBP management board and the Monetary Policy Council. However, it had problems obtaining appropriate documents from the central bank. The NBP did not respond to requests for documentation or requests for hearings. Therefore, the committee asked Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar for help in this matter.

Charges against Glapiński: Bringing Adam Glapiński before the State Tribunal is one of 100 specifics for 100 days, i.e. the electoral obligations of the Civic Coalition. The group argued that the president of the NBP would be judged for “destroying the independence of the National Bank of Poland and failing to fulfill the basic task of the NBP, which is to fight against high prices.” In the preliminary application eight allegations were made, among others o prohibited indirect financing of the budget deficit in the total amount of PLN 144 billion through the purchase of bonds by the National Bank of Poland in 2020-2021.
