They killed older women they knew they would not defend themselves. The first of them died so that they could steal her less than PLN 100. When they were murdering, they were 19 and 17 years old. On Friday, the court issued a more severe judgment in this case than the prosecutor wanted.
The young age of the perpetrators did not matter for the court. – For depriving a man the opportunity to watch the beauty of this world (…) none of the penalties can be considered draconian – said judge Arleta Wawrzynkiewicz from the District Court in Gorzów WielkieKopolski.
When Maciej began to kill, he was 18 years old. The court against him imposed a life imprisonment. Wiktor ended 16 at the time. He heard a sentence of 20 years. The prosecutor demanded milder penalties, just as defenders.

Teenagers agreed that they would kill the people they know. The victims were their neighbors. Together they murdered a 75-year-old and an 82-year-old, the older one alone killed another woman. The almost 90-year-old was the would-be victim. The case saved her. The teenagers noticed police car when they were at her door.
– Easy victims who do not resist the perpetrator of these crimes. It is so very cowardly, it is such, you can say, without end it is possible to hunt the elderly – says Dr. Paweł Moczydłowski, a criminologist.

The youngest, who at the time of committing the crime was not of adult, could not be sentenced to prison for the rest of his life. – The accused decided to be the master of life and death, and realized his intention – said judge Arleta Wawrzynkiewicz in the justification.
