The investigation in this matter was conducted since August. Initially, the allegations regarding the lack of supervision over the mines were presented to soldiers from the material warehouse of the bridge (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) and one military from the material composition of Hajnówka (Podlasie Voivodeship).

One person pleaded guilty
Initially, in the case of lost mines – that is, poor supervision over their transfer and receipt – the allegations were presented to four people. Later, the former commander of the composition in Mosty also heard allegations of failure to fulfill his duties. – When performing activities in the case, irregularities in the storage of other property, explosives were also revealed – explained Colonel Bartosz Okoniewski.
He added that in connection with improper storage and recording of this material, the allegations regarding arbitrary disposal of ammunition or explosive were presented to another two soldiers from the unit in the bridges.
– Only one confessed from the suspects – said Prosecutor Okoniewski. He emphasized that it was one of the soldiers accused of arbitrary disposal of explosives.
The accused of failing to meet the obligation to protect or supervise the faces and to confirm untruth in documents from three months to five years in prison. In turn, the former commander of the warehouse in Mosty and two soldiers responsible for arbitrary disposal of explosives threatens up to three years imprisonment.
