Three cars burned down on Monday in Mazewo Dworskie near Nasielsk. As a result of the fire, a 46-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were injured.

A fire broke out in three cars parked on a private property in Mazewo Dworski on Monday before noon. Fire brigade at 11:28 received a report that gasoline had caught fire. According to preliminary findings of the services, the fire broke out as a result of careless pouring of fuel from cars.

As told to the tvnwarszawa.pl portal by the press officer of the State Fire Service in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Capt. Paweł Plagowski, the cars were unregistered, probably intended for scrapping.

Two people were burned as a result of the fire, a 46-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy. Capt. Plagowski reported that the injuries were not life-threatening. The injured were treated on the spot. However, the Emergency Medical Team recommended hospitalization, but the burned man decided that he and the 15-year-old would go to the hospital on their own.

The firefighting operation lasted almost two hours. Three units took part in it – one from the State Fire Service in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and volunteer units from the Volunteer Fire Department in Jackowo.
