A 56-year-old man wanted on 19 arrest warrants and two European arrest warrants was arrested in Pardubice, Czech Republic. He has numerous fraud and misappropriation records and will spend at least 17 years in prison.

The 56-year-old comes from one of the counties in Masovia. – The man had been wanted since 2018 by courts in, among others, Chełm, Lublin, Zabrze and Rybnik in connection with numerous frauds and misappropriation. There were also two European arrest warrants issued for him, said Rafał Jeżak from the press team of the Masovian police.

Stopped by the Czechs

Police officers from the Search and Identification of Persons Department of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Radom were responsible for determining the whereabouts of the 56-year-old. They had suspicions that the wanted man might be in the Czech Republic. They shared their findings with officers of the National Anti-Drug Headquarters SKPV of the Czech Republic.

A few days ago, a man was detained by Czech police in Pardubice. He faces deportation to Poland and then stays in prison for at least 17 years.
