The Prime Minister of Great Britain, answering the question on this matter on Sunday, criticized politicians calling for the invitation. He accused them that “they want to deepen the divisions between London and Washington at a very delicate moment for Europe.

“I will not be convinced by SNP or other people trying to escalate rhetoric, without respecting the most important thing at the scales, and we are talking about peace in Europe,” said Starmer.
