IMGW warns of dense fog. First-degree alerts are in effect. Check where to exercise caution.
The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued a first degree warning.
First degree IMWM warnings – dense fog
Dense fog alerts are in effect in the following provinces:
- Pomeranianin the northern counties;
- West Pomeranianin the counties located in the north of the region;
- Lower Silesianin the Karkonosze counties and Jelenia Gora.
Dense fog is forecast, with visibility in some areas being less than 200 metres. The warnings will be in effect from 11am on Thursday.

What are the first level IMWM warnings?
Conditions are predicted to be conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and threaten health and life. Conducting business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from conducting activities in the area of the threat, including delays caused by traffic disruptions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution is recommended, the need to follow messages and the development of the weather situation.
