What's more, the club's fans were worried not only by the Frenchman's form, but also by the entire team, which has only five points after three rounds. This is the result of a 1-1 draw with Mallorca and Las Palmas, as well as a 3-0 victory over Real Valladolid. The former PSG player did not score a goal in either of these matches. It was believed that he would break through in Sunday's clash with Real Betis and improve the club's situation in La Liga table. This one was uninteresting and the team was losing more and more to its eternal rival.

In the 76th minute, the referee awarded a penalty after a foul on Vinicius Junior, which the Frenchman approached. And he confidently used it, increasing the lead to 2:0.
This result allowed Real to advance in the La Liga table, and significantly so. They currently occupy second place with eight points. They are four points behind the leader, FC Barcelona. Atletico Madrid is in third place – they have the same number of “points” as Ancelotti's team, but have a worse goal difference. Betis, on the other hand, remained in 17th place. However, they have played one game less.
