The busy Monday of the Polish Medical Air Rescue. In and around Warsaw, the rescue helicopter was dispatched to people in need of help three times. As our reporter found out, in at least one case, ground ambulances were missing. In the afternoon, a cyclist was taken to the hospital on board, hit by a passenger car near Legionowo.
The cyclist was hit before 3 p.m. in Łajski in the Legionowo poviat. – Preliminary findings show that the 56-year-old was riding a bicycle on a walking and cycling route. She was hit by a passenger car that was leaving the parking lot at the school, informs Justyna Stopińska from the County Police Headquarters in Legionowo. – The woman was taken to the hospital with a head injury by a helicopter of the Polish Medical Air Rescue – he adds.
He also points out that the victim was conscious and her general condition was assessed as good.
Previously, the LPR helicopter was available, inter alia, to Konstancin-Jeziorna. – Around 11.30 am, the service received a report about a man who was supposed to fall down the stairs in one of the buildings at Bielawska Street. An LPR helicopter from Sokołów Podlaski was sent to the site, reports Artur Węgrzynowicz from tvnwarszawa.pl. As he established, the ground crew was also sent to the site, and it was they who would eventually take the patient.
– At that time, in the Piaseczno poviat, there were several other events requiring the intervention of an ambulance and this is probably why the dispatcher decided to send a helicopter – says our reporter.
We also received information on Kontakt 24 that the LPR helicopter landed near Kędzierskiego Street in Bemowo. It was a summons to an unconscious man. It was handed over to the ground medical rescue team, informs Justyna Sochacka, spokeswoman for LPR.
A spokeswoman informed us that so far on Monday the LPR has intervened in Mazovia three times.
