A British billionaire, two Pakistani wealthy men, an experienced French diver and the co-founder of OceanGate died aboard the submarine Titan, the wreckage of which was found near the wreck of the Titanic on Thursday. According to the services, the ship suffered a catastrophic implosion.

The next crew members were from one of Pakistan’s richest families Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman. Dawood was the vice-president of Engro Corporation from Karachi, Pakistan, a giant in the fertilizer industry, also involved in, among others, vehicle production and digital technologies. He collaborated with the family Dawood Foundation. According to the website of the World Economic Forum, he has served on the boards of many companies in various industries.

The company’s website states that Rush became the youngest jet transport pilot in the world when he graduated as a DC-8 captain in 1981 at the age of 19. He served as the first mate in these machines during his college summer vacation. In 1984, Rush joined McDonnell Douglas Corporation as a test engineer for the F-15 program and spent two years at Edwards Air Force Base. For the last 20 years, he has been involved in business related to, among others, with undersea and aviation technologies, but also, for example, became a member of the board of the Aviation Museum in Seattle.

A French diver was also found among the victims Paul-Henry Nargeolet – 77-year-old, one of the world’s greatest experts on the Titanic disaster. He spent 25 years in the French Navy. After retiring, he led the first expedition to the wreck of the Titanic in 1987.
