Todd Chrisley Ordered to Pay $755,000 After Dropping Lawsuit

Todd Chrisley is coping with new authorized troubles.

The previous actuality star—who’s currently serving a yearslong prison sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion—was ordered by a Georgia courtroom to pay $755,000 to a former particular agent with the Georgia Division of Income (GDOR), in response to paperwork obtained by E! Information.

The decision was handed down on April 4 in Amy Doherty-Heinze‘s favor, with Chrisley owing “$350,000.00 in compensatory damages, $170,000 in punitive damages and $235,000 in bills of litigation, for a complete of $755,000.”

Doherty-Heinze filed a defamation criticism in opposition to the Chrisley Knows Best alum in July 2021 alleging that, in response to paperwork obtained by Folks, in 2020 he “started attacking [her] and accusing her of a mess of crimes and wrongdoing” amid the GDOR’s investigation into him and his spouse Julie Chrisley, which started three years earlier.

Per the criticism, Chrisley “started a social media marketing campaign in opposition to the GDOR and sure of its staff, contending that the investigation was unlawful and improperly motivated.” Doherty-Heinze alleged she was focused within the social media marketing campaign regardless of not being concerned within the investigation.
