Two collector coins “Polish Olympic Team Tokyo 2020” will be available from Friday, August 6. A gold coin with a denomination of 200 zlotys and a silver coin with a denomination of 10 zlotys will be available for sale. They will be available for purchase, inter alia, at the Regional Branches of the National Bank of Poland.

The gold coin, both on the obverse and on the reverse, shows the silhouettes of players soaring over the net and hitting the ball onto their rivals’ field.

Tokyo 2020 – coins with the Polish representation. How do they look?

The reverse of the silver coin features the silhouettes of the two kayak players, and on the obverse – the famous Mount Fuji volcano decorated with cherry blossoms, symbolizing the host country of the 2021 Games.

A gold coin with a nominal value of PLN 200 will be issued in a mintage of up to 1,500 and it will be available for purchase at a gross price of PLN 3,700. The circulation of a silver coin with a face value of PLN 10 is up to PLN 15 thousand. pieces (issue on July 15), and the price – PLN 150 gross.

The coins will be available for purchase at NBP Regional Branches and the NBP Kolekcjoner online store.
