Fake accounts are created on social media impersonating the popular author of culinary programs, Tomasz Jakubiak, who is fighting cancer. “Someone is impersonating me, setting up fake accounts, please report it and do not click on the links provided,” warned the “MasterChef” juror.

In a video published on Saturday on social media, Tomasz Jakubiak showed that fake accounts usually have his name and photo, but the number of people following them or friends is negligible. His only real profiles are followed by over one hundred thousand people. The “MasterChef” juror reminded that he never asks for financial support for his treatment in private messages, neither on Instagram or Facebook, and appealed not to click on any links sent in such messages. “The only support is the purchase of an e-book or an official collection, which will be announced by the official foundation,” Jakubiak said.
