Family, friends and colleagues said goodbye to Tomasz Knapik today. The funeral of one of the most famous Polish lecturers took place in the Military Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw.

– Today we are saying goodbye to a professionally fulfilled man, it seems to me, and probably also a personally fulfilled man. We say goodbye to a successful man. Dad gave the world everything he could and left with universal respect and universal sympathy, said his son Maciej Knapik, our editorial colleague, journalist from “Fakt” TVN during the funeral ceremony.

– Tom greeted me with a smile and always found a moment to exchange a word on a cigarette. In my frame of memories it will remain so forever. He opens the door with impetus and with a smile extends his hand – said lector Jacek Brzostyński.
