Vice-president of the Megafon foundation, Tomasz Piesiecki, is a candidate from the PiS list in Podlasie. This foundation received millions from Minister Przemysław Czarnek for the purchase of real estate. Czarnek, when asked about the vice president, asked who he was. – Which gentleman is this? The one with disabilities, right? This is what we’re talking about. Are you stopping him from running for the Sejm of the Republic of Poland? – he said to the journalist.

The Megafon Foundation received PLN 4.5 million from the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, for the purchase of real estate. However, it is still based in the private apartment of a director from the Chancellery of the President and a member of the supervisory board of state-owned Enea. “Megafon” was supposed to “support the education system”, but for now its vice-president is running for the Sejm from the PiS list. Banners with the foundation’s logo and a photo of Tomasz Piesiecki were hung a few weeks ago in various places in Podlasie.

Czarnek: Which gentleman is this? Are you stopping him from running for the Sejm?

The head of MEiN was asked about Piesiecki’s start from Podlasie on Tuesday by TVN24 reporter Jan Piotrkowski. – And who is it? – he replied.

When reminded who the vice-president of the Megafon foundation is, Czarnek replied, turning to the journalist: – Does he have voting rights? If he has voting rights, let him run. We have democracy, man.

– Which gentleman is this? The one with disabilities, right? This is what we’re talking about. Are you stopping him from running for the Sejm of the Republic of Poland? What do you think, that he will run from the Platform? Like the Platform did not invest in it at all – he said. – I hope that TVN does not take the position of limiting the voting rights of all those who would like to support PiS – he added.

Czarnek did not continue to answer questions and left.
