In Tomaszów Lubelski (Lubelskie Province) a coach, traveling by 31 people, citizens of Ukraine, burst into flames. Everyone had left the vehicle. Policemen and firefighters were sent to put out the fire.
The fire broke out on Wednesday (October 6) around 23.35 in Tomaszów Lubelski. A coach passing through Zamojska Street suddenly burst into flames.
Fortunately, the driver stopped in time and, just before the fire caught the vehicle, the passengers left the coach. Police officers and firefighters were sent to the site to extinguish the fire, says Staff Sergeant Małgorzata Pawłowska from the County Police Headquarters in Tomaszów Lubelski.
Two drivers and 29 passengers traveled by bus
The citizens of Ukraine traveled by bus: two drivers and 29 passengers. They traveled from Słupsk to Tarnopol. Nobody needed medical attention.
– According to preliminary findings, the cause of the fire was blocking and heating of the braking system – adds Sgt. pc. Pawłowska.
The uniforms secured the scene until the action was performed and organized detours. The road in this place was blocked until the early morning hours.
