The prosecutor’s office is explaining the circumstances of the fire that took place on Tuesday morning in a block of flats at Mielczarskiego Street in Tomaszów Mazowiecki (Łódź Voivodeship). Four people were evacuated, including three from the premises, which was on fire. Two people, a woman and a man, could not be saved.

Firefighters were alerted to the blaze at 3.45am on Tuesday. – After receiving a report about a fire in a multi-family house, a total of eight fire brigades were sent to the site – reports junior brigade Jędrzej Pawlak from the Łódź fire brigade.
