In Sopot, we want to offer a slightly different version of songs that people know – this is how Lady Pank’s performance at Top of the Top Sopot Festival 2023 is announced by the singer of the band, Janusz Panasewicz. On TVN24, he revealed that during the event the group will play “commonly known” songs.
Top of the Top Sopot Festival 2023 will start on August 21 and will last until August 24. As every year, the Sopot audience will have the opportunity to have fun together with the best and most popular pop music artists.

Panasewicz: Sopot is like home
Lady Pank’s frontman indicated that he could not reveal the repertoire for the upcoming event, but assured that the group would present “widely known” songs.
The band is on tour under the name “Słońcem possessed”. – But since March we’ve been playing such a tour in the MTV Unplugged formula. Some were spring, and now they will be autumn. In fact, this Saturday, before Sopot, we are starting the first of such autumn concerts in this formula in Olsztyn (…) We want to offer a slightly different version of songs in Sopot that people know, but in the version we play on tour – said the singer in TVN24.

Lady Pank will perform on the stage of the Forest Opera on Tuesday, the second day of the festival. Janusz Panasewicz emphasized that the group had performed in this place many times in its over 40-year career. He said he felt at home there.
– I remember a concert from 1985, from the last century, when we played an hour-long mini-recital. We played so well that we then went to the Tokyo Music Festival, because there were representatives of this Japanese festival there (in Sopot – ed.) and they invited us – recalled Janusz Panasewicz.
