I have the impression that there is some kind of fashion for returning to the 90s, songs from that time have already passed on to subsequent generations – said singer Natalia Kukulska on TVN24, who will perform during the second day of the Top of the Top Sopot Festival 2024, at the “Cudowne Lata '90” concert. On Monday, Golden Life will play at the “Fever of Sopot Night” concert. The band's vocalist Adam Wolski said that the Forest Opera is “very special” to him, because he performed there for the first time in the late 80s. All concerts will be available to watch live on TVN.
This year's Top of the Top Sopot Festival will take place on August 19-22. The Forest Opera will resound with the sounds of songs by the most popular Polish artists. Among the artists who will perform for the Sopot audience and TVN viewers, we will see: Ewa Bem, Urszula, Felicjan Andrzejczak, De Mono, Kayah, Sarsa, Andrzej Rybiński, Wilki, Enej, Margaret, Blue Cafe, Natalia Nykiel, the group Wanda i Banda, Wiktor Dyduła, Kasia Kowalska, Natalia Szroeder and Rubens.

On the second day of the festival, on Tuesday, August 20, there will be a concert “Cudowne Lata '90”. The Sopot stage will feature: Nosowska, Agnieszka Chylińska, Zalewski, Kasia Kowalska, Ørganek, Natalia Szroeder, Grubson, Błażej Król, Rubens and Natalia Kukulska.
Kukulska said on Saturday in the TVN24 studio that she currently feels very strongly that there is a return to the musical creativity of the 90s, which is now being discovered by subsequent generations. – I will say more. I have the impression that there is some kind of fashion for this generation (the 90s) and even my adult children somewhere tell me that these songs are played at parties, which is very nice for me, but I also see how it is received at concerts – said the artist.
She added that songs from that period “have already passed on to subsequent generations.”

Adam Wolski, vocalist of the band Golden Life, who will appear on the Sopot stage on Monday during the concert “Gerączka Sopockiej nocy”, said that they will perform well-known Polish songs. – This is not the first time I have performed at the Forest Opera. It is very special to me, because I remember how in the late 80s I had the opportunity to perform on the stage of the Forest Opera for the first time – he recalled. He admitted that he feels that their music unites generations.

Wolski also said that the band's new album will be released soon. As the vocalist said, it will be kept in a rock style, and the songs will be in Polish only. – I won't reveal the title of the album yet, because it's a secret – he added.
The TVN24 guest also assessed that “the music of the 90s was indeed (…) surprisingly, it had a very big boom”. – I remember how many of my colleagues, acquaintances who were creating music at that time, releasing albums, they were simply released in bulk. There was a ton of it and a ton of very cool, interesting music. I often look back on it, with sentiment, of course. Because those were also our teenage years – he added.
Speaking about the upcoming festival, he said that “someone came up with a great idea that each day will be a completely different formula.” – It will be interesting for all those who will be sitting both in front of the screens and in the Forest Opera – he said.
