Two people were injured in a paragliding accident in Sumów near Brodnica (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship). The glider fell from a height of about 50 meters and crashed. Air ambulance helicopters landed at the scene.
The incident took place on Saturday evening in Sumów near Brodnica. According to the Brodnica firefighters, the paraglider fell from a height of about 50 meters vertically and hit the ground.

As a result of the crash of the paraglider, a 42-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man were injured. Two helicopters of the Polish Medical Air Rescue were sent to the scene, which took the victims with spinal injuries to the hospital.
Three fire engines were dispatched to the spot.
As TVN24 journalists found out, the paraglider took off from a nearby farm, flew about 300 meters and then fell, probably due to the wrapping of the wing lines.
