85 towns visit the Tour de Konstytucja in less than five months. The action, which takes place for the third year in a row, this time under the slogan “I vote for Poland”, has reached Szczecin. The project involves lawyers, but also actors and Warsaw insurgents.

Tour de Konstytucja is a project consisting of a series of meetings organized throughout the country by the Congress of Civic Democratic Movements. It aims to bring closer the essence of the rule of law and democratic principles in the light of the upcoming parliamentary elections and the involvement of citizens to broad participation in them.

This year, Szczecin was the sixth city on the map of Poland where the meetings took place. At Plac SolidarnoĊ›ci, the main topics discussed were how Poles vote abroad and whether they have equal chances to participate in elections abroad.

– We explain the intricacies of electoral law, of course, views do not count, we only talk about the entire electoral procedures. We encourage you to go and vote in the fall. There is a lot of interest, also in these smaller towns a lot of people come – explained TVN24 reporter Igor Tuleya, judge of the District Court in Warsaw.

Ewa Wrzosek from the Association of Prosecutors “Lex Super Omnia” noted that the tour is “only at the beginning”. – It is already very good, it can be seen from the attendance, but as the situation develops, interest in the topic will be even greater – she assessed.

– People are interested in what rights they are entitled to, which regulations of the Electoral Code they could use. Yesterday we talked about voting by proxy, we are discussing issues regarding the universality of elections and the secrecy of votes. Today, the topic is the rights of Poles abroad, she said.
