Where can you pay with a travel voucher?
With the help of the voucher, you can make payments for hotel services or tourist events carried out by a tourist entrepreneur or public benefit organization in the country. The value of the voucher is PLN 500 per child up to the age of 18, and in the case of children with a disability certificate – PLN 1,000.
To use the service in the form of a voucher, you must create a profile on the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) of ZUS, where you can activate the voucher. To pay with a travel voucher, you must provide a special number (payment service code), and then a one-time code confirming payment with the voucher, sent via SMS to the mobile phone number (provided on PUE ZUS when activating the voucher).
The voucher can be used to pay for hotel services or tourist events carried out in Poland by tourist entrepreneurs and public benefit organizations entered on the list kept by the Polish Tourist Organization. The current list of these entities is available on the PTO websites. You can pay multiple times with the voucher until you run out of money in full.
As reported on Tuesday by the Polish Tourist Organization, parents have activated or used over 5 million vouchers under the Polish Tourist Voucher program, and entrepreneurs received PLN 2 billion.
