Authorities in Arizona, United States, have launched an investigation into the death of a woman who was found dead at her desk last Tuesday (August 20). The 60-year-old was supposed to have arrived at work at around hours 7am on Friday August 16 and for four days remain unnoticed by anyone. The story was described by the British daily “The Guardian“.
Woman Dies at Work, No One Knew About It for Four Days
The woman's work station was supposedly located on the third floor of the building, away from the others. That's why the 60-year-old was supposed to have gone unnoticed for so many days. According to “The Guardian”, the woman's body was supposedly found by accident by one of the employees who appeared in her space while walking around the building. When the police arrived, they pronounced the Wells Fargo employee dead.
From the moment the 60-year-old arrived at work until she was found, no one knew she was dead. Employees only began complaining about an unpleasant odor in in the officealthough they attributed it to plumbing problems.

Wells Fargo sent a statement to media saying it was “deeply saddened by the loss of our office colleague.” “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones during this difficult time. Advisors, through our Employee Assistance Advisory Service, are available to support our employees,” it said.
Wells Fargo said it is cooperating with the police in connection with the investigation. However, in the initial phase of the investigation, there is no indication that a crime has been committed.
