The echoes of the quarrel that occurred on Friday between Wołodylym Zelnski and Donald Trump did not stop. When asked if Trump would like the resignation of the Zelanski National Security Advisor, Mike Walt said that the US patience “is not unlimited”. He also criticized – in his opinion – the “extremely rude” body of the Ukrainian president.
Wołodymyr Zelanski He met on Friday with Donald Trumpto discuss the perspectives of the end of the war Russia against Ukraine. The conversation conducted in the presence of the media in the oval office initially took place in a relatively good atmosphere, but ended with an unprecedented quarrel. During the argument of Trump and vice president of JD Vance in the raised voice of Rugali Zelanski, accusing him of lack of gratitude and respect for USA.
– We need a leader who will work with us and act with the Russians, and ends this war, and if it turns out that the personal or political motivations of President Zełanski are divergent with the end of fighting in his country, I think we have a real problem – said national security advisor Mike Waltz on the CNN.
In this way, he answered the question of whether US President Donald Trump wants Zelanski's resignation ex officio. Referring to his previous statements, when as Congresmen he compared the Ukrainian president to Winston Churchill, Waltz emphasized that Churchill was the right man during the war, but lost power in 1945 and “did not conduct England to the next phase.”

“Extremely rude” body language
Waltz listed reservations about Zelnski's behavior during the Friday meeting with Trump in the Oval Office. He suggested that the attitude of the President of Ukraine did not give the impression that he wanted to lead in good faith to the end of the war. He also criticized him for demanding a security guarantee from the USA.
– Talking about the details and demanding a guarantee of security before – as President Trump said – we will not find out if we can lead both sides to the table of conversations at this point … You cannot condemn the other party, discussing the story of the conflict, if we want to lead both sides to the negotiating table – said the US President's advisor.
He added that the White House recognized Zelanski's body – “shaking his head, sitting with crossed hands” – for “extremely rude”.
– The patience of the American nation, which gives another billion (help) without a visible end, is not unlimited. And we clearly told President Zelnski at the end of this meeting, “he noted.
Waltz said that both sides of the war must make concessions – Ukraine in terms of territory, and Russia regarding security guarantee. He also noted that he could not obtain specific specifics from Kiev regarding territorial concessions, and added that Ukraine's membership in NATO. He also said that it is too early to talk about the details of the security guarantee, except that Europe is to play a leading role in this matter.
– The conversation about the details of the security guarantee is like a conversation about the details of the guarantee for an item before you decide whether (at all) you intend to buy it – assessed the politician.
When asked about reports according to which the US suspended cybernetic operations against Russia, Waltz did not answer directly. He said that this was not the subject of talks, and the US would use “many carrots and sticks to end this war.”

Rubio “just doesn't understand it”
The American Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who appeared on ABC on Sunday, argued that the US would be ready to resume contact with Ukraine when the authorities in Kiev “will be ready to make peace.”
Rubio emphasized that he did not know if “peace is possible at all”, but in his opinion it is necessary to attempt, and Zelanski's attitude, in his opinion, is not consistent with these activities.
– I just don't understand it. Biden's administration was tummy (premiere Israel) Benjamina Netanyahu and Israelis, put all kinds of conditions to them and put pressure on them to try to get a ceasefire (with Palestinian Hamas – ed.). In comparison with this in this particular case (Ukraine) we were nice – said Rubio. He added that if it was a democrat politician who tried to achieve peace, “everyone would say that he was on the way to win the Nobel Peace Prize.”
