The unmanned aerial vehicle fell on Thursday late afternoon near the town of TrzebieĊ in Lower Silesia. The event was reported by a walker who noticed the falling object. The services found and secured the facility, which was taken over by the army.
The incident took place on July 20 in the evening in TrzebieĊ. (BolesĊawiec poviat) According to the duty officer of the Lower Silesian State Fire Service, in the evening, activities were carried out in connection with finding an unmanned aerial vehicle. The object was to be noticed by a random passerby.
A walker saw an object falling from the sky
Press Officer of the Poviat Commander of the State Fire Service in BolesĊawiec Senior Brig. Piotr Pilarczyk, said that firefighters received a report that the walker saw an object falling from the sky. However, the witness was unable to determine what it was.
– On the spot, firefighters found representatives of the army, who also conducted a search. After a while, the object was found, the spokesman said. He added that the unmanned aerial vehicle did not pose a threat to the residents because it fell into a wooded area. There was no explosion during the fall, he said. The object, according to the firefighter’s report, had a wingspan of about eight meters.
