The Chief Sanitary Inspectorate warns against a batch of turmeric from the Peanuts brand. The reason is the detection of Salmonella.
GIS reported that the presence of Salmonella bacteria was detected during official tests in 1 out of 5 tested samples. “Consumption of a product contaminated with Salmonella spp. Is associated with the risk of food poisoning” – indicated the representatives of the Inspectorate. As they added, “you should not consume the product lot indicated in the announcement”.

The warning is for turmeric, 100 g, with the batch number P 14 05 and the date of minimum durability 12.2022. The product was packed in the plant of the Fistaszek company from Radecznica. GIS announced that the company had implemented a “recall procedure for the questioned product”.
The authorities of the State Sanitary Inspection are monitoring the process of withdrawing the disputed batch of turmeric.
