In the town of Turzyn-Kolonia in the Wyszków district (Masovian Voivodeship), a fire broke out in a single-family house. Two people died. One was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
A fire with tragic consequences occurred on Monday evening in Turzyn-Kolonia.
– The fire broke out in a single-family brick residential building. By now he is under control. It doesn’t develop. After our teams arrived, a total of three people were evacuated from the building. In the case of two people, rescue operations were abandoned. The emergency medical team confirmed the death of both people – said Senior Brigadier Sławomir Pietrzak from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wyszków.
The firefighter reported that a third person was evacuated from the first floor. – She was taken to hospital in a serious condition – he added.
More information was provided to us by Superintendent Damian Wroczyński, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Wyszków. – Two women, aged 81 and 34, died as a result of the fire. A 71-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries. On-site activities are performed by police technicians under the supervision of the prosecutor. Actions will also be taken with a fire expert, said Wroczyński.
