Polish volleyball players returned to the country after winning the silver medal medal Olympic Games in Paris. On Monday, August 12, they landed at Chopin Airport in Warsaw, where they were greeted by fans, activists and the media. Later, Nikola Grbić's team met with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who decided to joke with Tomasz Fornal.
Donald Tusk takes advice from Tomasz Fornal. “Can you swear?”
“Let's go, f***, f*** with them, f***” – that's what Tomasz Fornal shouted to his teammates during the Poland-USA match. In this clash, the White and Reds lost 1:2, but eventually triumphed 3:2 and advanced to the final, and the words of the receiver spread throughout the entire sports Poland.
It wasn't just ordinary fans who picked up on this motivation from the 26-year-old. Donald Tusk apparently liked it too. The prime minister joked with Fornal during a meeting with the volleyball players, and the video ended up on his social media.
– I need you for a motivational speech at the Council of Ministers – Tusk said to the Polish volleyball representative. – Good – Fornal laughed. – We have an agreement – added the Prime Minister, to which he heard a disarming: “Can I swear?” from the 26-year-old host. Of course, everything in a humorous manner.
Later during the meeting, Fornal and Tusk sat next to each other, and the Prime Minister published a photo with the volleyball player on the X website with the caption: “Here I am receiving advice from Tomasz Fornal on how to motivate ministers to work harder.”
In the comments, votes for topic The film and the Prime Minister's post are very divided. “I love you for this distance” – we read in one of the comments. “If a volleyball player trains the Prime Minister, why do we need a Prime Minister?” – asks another Internet user. “You should take lessons from these people on how to represent Poland with dignity” – we read under the post.
